OUR MISSION
LumiNUs Tutors uses fully remote tutoring to provide a compassionate and tailored source of academic support and mentorship for underserved Chicago Public School students. We are always looking for committed, empathetic volunteers to join our cause!
OUR HISTORY
Founded in January 2021 in response to the educational inequities exacerbated by COVID-19, Lumi works to help close systemic gaps in Chicago Public School education by providing high-quality and personalized support to students most acutely affected by the pandemic.
Programs We Offer
ACT Tutoring
We partner with Chicago Public High Schools to provide ACT tutoring for high school students. We match each student with a Northwestern University student tutor to discuss tips, tricks, and strategies to excel on the ACT!
College Readiness
We tackle college essay writing, college application support, adjusting to college life, and more!
